Remember September started in 2006 as a personal project and grew to one of the biggest modifications for Call of Duty 2. Remember September portrayed the events of Operation Market Garden. The project was cancelled in June 2008.

As Project Lead and Lead Level Designer,
my responsibilities included:

  • Leading a team of ~15 developers
  • Initial research into the area, story and gameplay possibilities
  • Creating and maintaining (level-) documentation
  • Blocking out gameplay areas
  • From idea to final:
    AI placement, mission scripting, event scripting, camera implementation, collision mark-up, dialog implementation, level optimizations and adjusting pace
    or difficulty where needed.
  • Set / propdressing.
  • Iterating on internal feedback
  • Quality Assurance on my own work
  • Bugfixing
